JAYAM EDUCATIONAL HEALTH & CHARITABLE TRUST (JEHCT)

JEHCT is run by its Chairman, Mr. M. Ramesh and the Managing Trustee, Mrs. R. Parvathi Ramesh. The Trust was registered in the year 1997 and Jayam college of Engineering & Technology (JCET) was started in the year 1998. In the year 2008, JEHCT added Jayam Polytechnic College (JPC) and had started to become a group of institutions since then.

The College has earned a reputation for Technical expertise, commendable facilities, a track record of performance, good discipline with excellent results and enterprising students.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

HSC (Academic & Vocational) Candidates

The minimum requirements for admission to B.E. / B.Tech. Programmes are that the candidate has to pass the 12th std board examinations with the minimum percentage as mentioned below.

Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination within two attempts.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA - LATERAL ENTRY

Diploma Holders (All branches) are also eligible to join II year of the four years of the B.E. Degree courses

The placement record over the last three academic years has been great @ Jayam College with over 1000 offers produced in all the departments. The highest salary package offered @ Jayam was 8.3 LPA from Zoho. We are proud to have given a lot of opportunities to not just JCET Students but also to all the students in the region by conducting various pooled on-campus placement drives.

 

 

OVERVIEW

The training and placement cell of Jayam College of engineering and technology guides the students to shape their careers and leads them to success. TPC( Training and Placement Cell) starts serving the students right from day-1 of their first-year academic calendar. Requisite skill development-oriented training activities provided along with the regular academic schedule for all four years. The training activities bring all essential modules like Aptitude tests, communication skills, language practice, group discussions, personality development, Job oriented courses, mock sessions, and special training programs to ensure the best in employable eligibility. In simple, TPC en route the Employment for Jayam Engineers by taking consideration in all requirements and expectations on the students’ belvedere.

 

 

TRAINING

With a great emphasis on training, we also developed an in-house training module consisting of 4 phases that starts from communication to core training. The 4 phases are explained below. Every student takes the assessments and then reevaluates at the end of every semester. Apart from our in-house training, we also provide training via mentorship programmes with industry experts who work in Amazon, Microsoft, etc. This gives the students a chance to see first hand what the industry expects from them so that they can be prepared to face the reality during placements.

 

 

 

OBJECTIVES

  • The objective of Training & Placement Cell is to transport one from student to professional and to paw the platform for employment opportunities.

  • To analyze and design the training needs for imparting professional skills to the students.

  • To guide the students in understanding industry requirements and ease their efforts in achieving career objectives.

  • Act as a bridge between students, alumni, and employers.

  • To take feedback from the industry and provide inputs for the curriculum.
