G I S A T (Gurudeva Institute of science and technology) is located in a beautiful landscape of 17 acres at Puthupally, about 10 km east of Kottayam town. The atmosphere at GISAT is ideal for learning and it provides a platform for budding engineers to think creatively and come up with new ideas that can change the world. The college started functioning during the year 2010. The aim of this institution is to provide quality engineering education at an affordable fees without compromising in quality and content.

Gurudeva Institute of science and technology (GISAT) give a lot of emphasis to the training and placement requirements of the student community. There are many training programs that are schemed to groom the students according to meet the requirements of the industry. During the semesters specific time dedicated for co-curicular activities with a special focus to placement oriented training aimed at the overall development of the students. The placement activities are aligned to meet the current challenges and the emerging market scenarios. All the students are made to go through a series of aptitude training, analytical quantitative, logical and reasoning training and soft skill enhancement training programs during their course.

The students are trained to attain placement through a variety of programmes run by the Placement & Training Cell such as Industry to Institute Programmes, Training Programmes in the areas of Aptitude, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Verbal through the Reputed External Training centers, technical training programmes, Language learning programmes, Training through Mock Interviews, etc
